Xbox makes a great annoying game you can download for free – Xbox

Carrionthe gruesome and overwhelming horror game from developers Phobia Game Studio and publishers Devolver Digital, is our first official game. Xbox Game Pass game of the year.

Carrion It’s a sort of body horror Metroidvania that tasks you with escaping the research facility in which you, the “Monster,” are being held captive (and killing literally everyone along the way).

The title received relatively positive reviews upon release, especially on Xbox.

The Xbox version of the game currently has a score of 76 out of 100 on Metacriticwith an overall average of 76/100 for top cash On OpenCritic.

Additionally, Carrion was also nominated for Best Debut Game and Best Independent Game at The Game Awards 2020.

This probably isn’t the first time Xbox Game Pass subscribers have seen the game appear, as (according to Pure Xbox’s Ben Kerry) Carrion was previously available in 2020, 2021, and the first half of 2022.

Funnily enough, this is exactly how I remember it when I first played the game and is probably how most people found out about its existence in the first place.

Either way, it’s nice to see Carrion Back on Xbox Game Pass – especially considering it’s been almost three years since it was last available.

I think it’s worth a try if you haven’t recognized it one way or another over the course of three years of service, as long as you’re not the squeamish type.

Hopefully we’ll get an even cooler addition sometime over the next few weeks. Hey, maybe Microsoft will do it So add Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League!
