The holidays may be over, but the snow season is still falling, and there’s a lot to admire about it Build a white gaming PC Which features a distinct Narnia twist. An ode to the popular Chronicles of Narnia series by C.S. Lewis, this gaming rig transports you to a whole new world, with the PC components cleverly hidden by the cheerful interior of the snow-covered case.
This one is beautiful AMDDesign backed by a premium look that will definitely compete with The best gaming computers On aesthetics, even if this gaming rig wasn’t designed with the best specs in mind. The creator has completely turned the Okinos Aqua 3 PC case upside down, with extras including added snowflakes, trees and even a house, all carefully painted to create a snow-like effect inside.
This interesting PC came to my attention on Reddit mail In the r/pcmasterrace subreddit, thanks to a submission by clonetrooper5385. Designed with his mother in mind as a Christmas gift, and thanks to some drawing help from their sister, every part of this build was designed with the Narnia theme in mind.
The Redditor used extras to fill the normally bare lower area of the PC case to set the scene, setting foot in Narnia for the first time outside the wardrobe in the snow-covered landscape. However, these add-ons aren’t just for show.
For example, the snow-covered lamp post has an LED that acts as a power LED, while both Narnia’s wardrobe and Mr. Tumnus’ house have their own lights, controlled using an RGB header on the motherboard. My favorite view of this build is from the front, with the snow-covered trees and house below, icicles sticking out of the top, and the CPU cooler lit up in the middle.
The PC itself has been designed to complement the Narnia setting as well, thanks to its use of all-white components. It’s powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G processor – a six-core Zen 3 CPU – and uses a white AM4 Asrock B550 mATX motherboard. It also comes with 16GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM, a 600W Thermaltake power supply with matching white cable extensions, BeQuiet case fans, and a Samsung 990 Evo 1TB NVMe SSD for storage.
However, the graphics card is one notable omission. Instead, this system relies on Vega 7 graphics integrated into the Ryzen CPU. There’s not much to write home about these days, but it will still handle older or less resource-hungry games at 1080p at lower settings, although more modern, resource-hungry games will be more difficult. According to clonetrooper5385, his mother is not a gamer, so this doesn’t seem to be an issue here.
Ultimately, the beauty of this computer lies in its design. If you love the Narnia books as much as I did as a kid, this edition delivers a heavy dose of nostalgia. It’s also a testament to what you can do with what’s called a modern dual-window PC case. With this amazing view inside, you basically have a diorama case ready to display the creative interior of your computer.
