In a development that would make the series’ protagonist proud, Netflix appears to have shot itself in the foot in one of its many claws by accidentally revealing the release date. Squid gameThe third and final season.
Netflix recently released a preview of Season 3. It features the few remaining survivors and a new doll that’s likely to be even more painful than the one in the red-green light game we all hate to love. But more importantly, it will end with the promise of the show’s return in 2025.
However, the teaser also revealed more than it likely intended, as the Netflix Korea account appears to have leaked the news that Season 3 will be released on June 27, 2025. And while this may be Netflix messing with fans, However, it’s highly unlikely, as no one is really sure to gain anything from a fake release date.

Second, Season 2, although incredibly fun and intense, leaves viewers hanging. Season 2 feels like it was created out of the first half of the final season or as something Netflix released just to quench fans’ thirst. Season 2 ends on a high note, so fans will likely be happy to know that they won’t have to wait another two years for the series to reach its conclusion.
