The makers of Yakuza 1915 are working on a new third-person shooter called Project Century.

I lost track of how much Yakuza The games are still in development at any given moment, but it looks like makers Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have room for more on them. During tonight’s Game Awards, they announced “Project Century,” a new third-person brawler set in 1915. Below is a trailer.

Now that’s a beautiful trailer. The setting, the music, the rain, the swing of it all – I’m really interested in learning more, and not just because I don’t know anything about it right now.

Is this a yakuza game? I have no idea though, just got a code name for now, even if it’s not given. But smashing the sides with fists and bottles seems like a yakuza move. I bet that tough guy protagonist has a heart of gold no matter how many people stab him in the heart.
