Physint, Kojima’s upcoming PlayStation game, is suffering from delays

Hideo Kojima He has confirmed that his next PlayStation game Vicente It suffered some development delays due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. Players were already anticipating the release of Physint around the time of PS6launch, but it is increasingly likely that the game will be a next-gen-only title.

Thinking about 2024 in a New Year’s Eve note XKojima revealed that he had to suspend the casting for Physint due to the ongoing actors’ strike. He was unable to confirm when he would resume acting, but said he hopes to get back on track in 2025.

“For the (Xbox) OD, we developed the game and did an actor and environment scan. In the second half of the year, scanning and filming were suspended due to the SAG strike,” Kojima said. “Casting for Physint was also suspended due to the strike. We hope to resume next year.”

Platforms have not been confirmed for Physint, but we know it will be headed to PlayStation where the game is being developed with the help of Sony Interactive Entertainment. All we know is that Physint is a new spy action game that will “cross the barriers between movie and video games.”
