How to find the lampfish in Infinity Nikki – Destructoid

No matter what outfit or item of clothing you’re trying to make in Infinity Nikki, you’ll always need specific resources for each one. One outfit element that has proven popular is the well-structured top, thanks to its sexy aesthetic and easy-to-match color.

To craft a well-structured top, you’ll need to reel in a specific type of fish – the lampfish. Unfortunately, they’re not easy to find, and you’ll need to dive into the cave if you want to catch one of these glowing aquatic creatures.

How to find the lampfish in Infinity Nikki

Lamp Fish are a type of fish that only spawn in select caves in Florawish and Breezy Meadow. You won’t find them in all of the caves, unfortunately, but there are two that will likely provide you with this special reward. There is also an option that does not involve fishing at all, but it comes at a price.

Where to catch lampfish in Infinity Nikki

If you’ve already found a Lamp Fish previously, you’ll be able to open the collection menu via the in-game map and find it in the fish menu. Click on it, select a path, and your map will guide you to capture more. However, if you have never eaten lampfish before, this is not an option.

If so, you have two alternative options if you want to catch lampfish in the wild. First, you can head to the Well of Fortune Warp Spire, which you should unlock during Chapter 2 when you help the Croakers repair their power grid.

When you get there, exit the Well of Fortune via the waterfall, then head west along a dirt path until you reach the cave entrance. Go inside and jump down from the initial platform to find a fishing spot in the water below.

It’s easiest to get to the second location that can provide Lamp Fish by traveling to the Wish Pass Office Warp Spire and then traveling north through the original entrance you take to get to the Wishing Woods. There is a fishing area here to the east where Lamp Fish can be obtained as a potential reward.

How to buy Fish Lamp in Infinity Nikki

Let’s face it, going fishing isn’t always at the top of the priority list, and sometimes it’s not attractive at all. While fishing in Infinity Nikki is fun and you can certainly get Lamp Fish this way, there is also an alternative if you want to purchase some.

If you spend a lot of time pulling any of the Infinity Nikki banners, and are lucky enough to pull some 4- or 5-star duplicates, you will have stocked up on Surge Ebb. This type of rare currency can be spent in the shop to buy various items, including Lamp Fish at a cost of 1 Surgen Ebb each.

Unfortunately, there is a monthly limit of 10 lamp fish that can be purchased, but that’s more than enough to make a well-organized top, and since the material isn’t currently used for anything else, you’ll have some to spare.

How to find and craft the well-organized top in Infinity Nikki

This well-structured top features a simple design and color scheme, and can be easily implemented into a variety of different clothing styles. It’s one of my personal favorites, and I made it my mission relatively early to get it.
