Hey, Mary!

2025 has already given some really great comics, and Oni Press is worth adding to your reading pile. Hey, Mary! It is a heartless novel, trying to reconcile his Catholic faith with his hard sexuality, with his hard sexuality and the greatest religious figures in history.

IGN, on the other hand, can debut a new preview of Mary! Check out the slideshow below:

Hey, Mary! Andrew Wheeler (Cat Fight, another castle) has written and illustrated by Zekale Hickman (Harrowing, bad dream). Here is the official description of the new book:

Mark is a good Catholic boy. He goes to church, he says his prayers, and it gives too much time to worry about hell. The brand realizes that he has a shower of another boy in his school, struggling to reconcile his feelings with his faith, as a weight of shame and trial, and presses the fear of his parents on his shoulders. Mark searches for his priest’s advice, as well as a local drag performer, but also includes unexpected entry for Catholic history and key flowers, including Joan Of Arc, Michelangelo, St. Sebastian and Savonarola. After all, only the brand can answer the question: Is it possible for him to be Catholic and gay?

“Hey, Marka! Mark,” Wheeler “is what the wheeled is said.” If you are queer and Catholic, you may see that through a teenager’s experiences.

“Shoutout Hank Jones, our amazing colorful, colors of these turtles on the first page of this preview!” Hickman says. “Hey, there are nodes in the history of art scattered around Mary. It is not affected by religious iconography through age. Sex loaded in a way that can sometimes be hard to recover.”

Wheeler, “Catholic References worked for fun and I really love rye execution! References are there what you need to look for, but if you don’t, they enrich the visual storyteller.”

Hey, Mary! It is now available in bookstores and comics. You can Order the book on Amazon.
