Apple’s Vision Pro, a mixed reality headset whose only impressive function was the ability to instantly refund $3,500, was released last February, and was met with such a lukewarm response that the company is now seriously slowing down on the production side of things.
According to multiple sources caught out Mac RumorsApple currently has enough inventory to meet demand for the expected life of the product. The result of the poor performance is said to be due not only to the incredibly high price but also to the lack of content.
Apple is reportedly still developing the Apple Vision gen 2, although its production has also been halted due to the poor performance of the original. Although things are looking bad for the product, Apple has not stopped production entirely, just slowed it down, and is looking to bring it back to full strength if Vision Pro sales pick up. It appears that Apple is also looking to make a cheaper headset, which would be an effective way to deal with the biggest problem facing the Vision Pro.
Bloomberg had reported earlier That Apple was looking to integrate Apple AI In future versions of the device, so we’ll see how this news affects those plans.
Many of the mistakes Apple made while making the Vision Pro could have been avoided by just looking at the high price and low sale PSVR2 headset. Instead, Apple chose to make a more expensive and less interesting product.
You can currently still get the original Apple Vision Pro For its original price.
