Microsoft has now confirmed the first batch of Games leaving Xbox Game Pass in January 2025. Exoprimal, Insurgency: Sandstorm, Escape Academy, Common’hood, That’s Who Remain, and Figment: Journey Into the Mind are the first Game Pass casualties of 2025 and will all leave the service on January 15. Games leaving Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass in January 2025
For those looking for a challenge over the next couple of weeks, Exoprimal is your first port of call. The chaotic multiplayer third-person shooter, which pits you and your team against waves upon waves of ferocious dinosaurs, has a completion estimate of 80 to 100 hours. Most of this time will be spent grinding Achievement of the elimination of the Cretaceous periodwhich requires you to kill a huge 100,000 dinosaurs. Also scheduled to leave Game Pass on January 15 is New World Intractive’s first-person shooter, Insurgency: Sandstorm. It will take between 15 and 20 hours to unlock all 30 achievements here. At first glance, the 1000G here seems pretty straightforward, but if you look a little deeper, you’ll see that some achievements either need some skill or a lot of luck to achieve.
Camel 101’s adventure title, Those Who Remain, can be completed in about ten hours. Although the game only has 14 achievements, 12 have been marked as missable, so keep an eye out for those as you play. If you have a computer, there is a separate set of Those who remain achievers available.

If you’re looking for a quick Gamerscore boost, 1000G can be obtained from Escape Academy in under 2 hours using Escape from academy walkthrough. However, developer Coin Crew Games rolled out a free update to the game in 2024 that added an additional 500GB and made overall completion more difficult. It is estimated that unlocking all 40 Escape Academy achievements will take between seven and ten hours.
Finally, we come to the Common’hood, which, unfortunately, has three unattainable achievements that cannot be completed.
