Xbox Game Pass adds reverse horror game Carrion today

The new year starts in style, like Carrion joins Xbox Game Pass Today for Ultimate, Standard and PC subscribers on Xbox Series Subscribers previously had the opportunity to collect Carrion’s accomplishments In retrospect, so that’s great to see ID@Xbox Game of the Year 2020 Winner Return to Game Pass for all subscribers.

Released in 2020, Carrion quickly became one of the most beloved games of the year, thanks to its gorgeous visuals and gory gameplay. It initially launched on Xbox Game Pass and spent two years on the service before being discontinued in July 2022, but now it’s back. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Standard, and PC Game Pass members can dive into Carrion today,
Carrion is a “reverse horror” game that puts you in the body of an amorphous monster trying to escape a research facility – your prison. You have one goal: find a way out by any means necessary, chewing out your captors along the way to spread fear and panic throughout the laboratory.

As you glide toward your exit, you can unlock new upgrades to cause even more chaos, and become a destructive force of nature. It’s a real treat for Metroidvania fans and great fun for horror fans looking to become the Hunters for once.
