Marvel competitors Season 1 is quickly approaching, and with it comes a ton of new content to delve into. There are a few things to note if you are still actively playing so that you don’t miss out or get caught off guard.
So, here’s everything you need to know regarding the status of the current season, when it will end, and more.
Marvel competitors Season 0 (Pre-Season), Chronovium, will end on January 9, 2025, at 10 PM PT (1 AM EST). Time will vary depending on your location. This means you only have one week left to complete your Battle Pass and any other quests associated with it.
Fortunately, if you own the Deluxe Edition (just another word for Premium), you can complete it after the current season ends. The only downside is that all the Chrono Tokens (purple currency) you earned this season will not carry over to the next season.
Don’t worry about modules or network; It will be safe between classes. You don’t have to spend it or lose it as we enter a new season. They are just Chrono Tokens that you need to worry about and earn from scratch.
Marvel competitors Season 1 should begin on January 10, just hours after the end of the preseason (Season 0).
Between the end of the preseason and the launch of the new season, expect some downtime as the new update rolls out. What this will entail is as follows.
So far, we can expect new characters, a new stage or few, potential new modes, balance changes, and obviously a new Battle Pass.
To start, The biggest addition we get in Marvel Rivals is the Fantastic Four. This is correct. We get Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing. It has not been determined whether they will all be deployed at the same time.
This means there are four additional characters, so it may be possible that we get them throughout the season to keep players coming back. Note that with new character releases in these types of games, they will be picked up very quickly.
Then, in the teaser we got for Fantastic Four, it looks like we’re adding at least one new stage to the mix. Whether it will be played in an existing game format or a new format will be determined during the trailer that will be released later in January.
It’s also important to know that with a major balance change like this, we’ll likely see a change to the current meta in the game. Characters will likely see some significant buffs or nerfs, depending on how well or poorly they are doing. Tryers are sure to be glued to this one.
And finally, the Battle Pass. What the next season will include will be interesting and will most likely revolve around the newly added heroes. The topic is still up in the air, but when a new character appears in a game like this, Battle Passes are usually themed or cater to the latest content.
