The smallest fish

Currently the smallest fish in Fish is the humble sardine. This Ocean Common find ends up in a lot of players’ inventory and is often overlooked due to its poor selling price and simple gray design – identical to its real-life counterpart.

Can we get smaller?

Technically, yes. The contenders for the smallest fish (if you consider them that) are two different types of shrimp: Night Shrimp and standard shrimp. While they both contribute to the fauna as fish, shrimp are technically not fish and are instead classified as crustaceans!

They can be caught using crab cages, and thanks to their common rarity they are easy to find if the cages are placed in the right place.
