The success of Indiana Jones on Xbox seems to have left Disney wanting more

Indiana Jones and the Grand Circle It has undoubtedly enjoyed a great month since its release in early December, and according to a new rumour, it appears that Disney is actually interested in a potential MachineGames sequel.

This comes thanks to Windows Central editor Jez Corden over at Xbox Two Podcast:

“A Disney insider suggested there would be more Indiana Jones, and I’ll say for my part, I’ve also heard that Disney has picked up the phone and wants more Indiana Jones.”

Last week, we reported that US gaming charts were looking up very Healthy from an Xbox perspective after Indiana Jones launch week, despite the game being released as part of Xbox Game Passstill managed to become the second best-selling video game in terms of dollar sales for the week ending December 14, losing only to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Obviously, more numbers need to be revealed before we can determine whether Indiana Jones and the Grand Circle is a financial success, but these early rumors suggest that a sequel is a strong possibility. Bring it!
