In the soon-to-be-released Steam game, you can test your survival skills, in a world that screams The Last Of Us.
The last of us It’s one of the biggest IPs in gaming right now, and it’s killer Playstation An exclusive that continues to grow in popularity.
If you haven’t been able to experience The Last Of Us games by the way, you’re missing out
What makes The Last Of Us so compelling is how unique its survival story is: instead of zombies that can be easily dispatched, the main threat is a fungal disease that has destroyed almost the entire planet.
Although it is not extreme, Rooted on steam It offers a similar survival experience, but gives you more options for how to survive, just like another game called Valheim.
The game description says: “In this single and multiplayer survival game, explore an ancient, overgrown world full of dangers. Rescue, build, craft, hunt… and try to survive alone or with your friends in an evolving and fascinating post-apocalyptic environment.” Powered by Unreal Engine 5.
Aside from the Unreal Engine visuals which look pretty good, Rooted offers an expansive open world that you can explore alone or with other players, and it’s completely up to you what your goal will be.
With games like this, my goal is usually to get as much loot and materials as possible and build a massive base of operations for myself, but if you prefer dungeon crawling that’s okay too.
Unfortunately, you can’t play it yet, as there isn’t even a demo or playtest you can jump into at the time of writing.
Fear not, the Steam page believes the game will be released sometime in the near future, so if you’re looking for a new survival game to try out this game might be your best choice.
