Stardew Valley It was launched in 2016, and has since become the ultimate relaxing farming game across the industry. It has been released on multiple consoles and handheld platforms across generations of hardware, and as of 2025, it has officially been outdone 41 million copies sold.
A sales update has been added to the game’s press page at the bottom of the game’s history section, which says “As of December 2024, Stardew Valley has sold over 41 million copies across all platforms.”
It goes on to say that the majority of these sales were on PC at 26 million, and a large portion of console sales were on the Nintendo Switch, with 7.9 million copies sold on Nintendo’s portable/home console hybrid.
