Darth Vader is undoubtedly one of the most iconic villains in fiction, so it’s always great to see him return in some capacity.
This time it will be featured in an upcoming comedy series after His death in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

Don’t worry, even though this doesn’t reflect his heroic redemption and sacrifice, Vader did face a lot of hurt during his time on the Dark Side and some of the plans he set in motion have ramifications for the New Republic.
This will be explored in the future marvel: star wars The series is a relaunch of the comics that will see the reappearance of a variety of familiar faces for new adventures separate from the TV shows and films.
Written by Alex Segura, Charles Soule, and Marc Guggenheim, the series will show us what happened immediately after the fall of the Empire, some of Qui-Gon Jinn’s adventures before his death, and introduce a new character named Vanee.
The Vanee in particular is interesting because they’re clearly related to both Darth Vader and Kylo Ren, so maybe this is how Kylo added Darth Vader’s helmet to his personal collection?
The first issue of the new series will be released on May 3rd later this year, right before May 4th, and will apparently be distributed for free through participating comic book stores.
If you are a fan of Marvel comics and The Star Wars universe is worth checking out, as it promises plenty of Jedi, Sith, and combinations in between, and will likely give us some new and official lore.
It’s worth reading while we wait for whatever new Star Wars saga Disney has in store.
