PSA: Your PS Stars level progress has been reset

Alert for P.S. stars Members who wish to maintain their level, as has been the case since the beginning, had their annual progression reset earlier this week. This means that players have one year to meet the requirements to maintain their current level, and if they fail to do so, they will lose their level by 2026.

How the PS Stars level system works

Those who open their PS app for the first time after January 1 are greeted with a message reminding them that their progress has been reset (to the start of the last level), and if they want to keep their level, they must meet requirements such as purchasing four full games of PS Store Earn up to 128 rare trophies and above.

The PS app also provides an estimate of how players stand within a year based on their current progress towards meeting the stated requirements. This is where things get a little confusing. The general assumption is that if players cannot maintain their current level, they will drop back to the previous level by 2026. However, the PS app claims that all members will be taken directly to the first level.

It is not clear whether this is an error SonyOtherwise we will truly be reassigned to Level 1 from Levels 3 and 4 if we do not maintain our status. Whatever the case may be, if you don’t want a complete reset, make sure you complete the tasks mentioned above.
