We just had an exciting situation of Deep Dive Air game for SUCKER PUNCH’s GHOST OF Yōtei, and this included a first look at PS5 Console – Ghost of Yōtei Limited Edition packagesIt includes a new complex console designs with a Dualsense wireless control unit.
These amazing designs are picked up by EZO’s fictional SUCKKER PUNCH (now known as Hokkaido), and the world that players will start exploring ATSU’s story of revenge. Mt. Yōtei is a creative location and has become a symbol of Hokido as well as ATSU itself, and for this reason we wanted to reflect the beauty of the region and landscapes by honoring two beautiful Japanese visual traditions. Fans will also love that both keyboards are characterized by a special maker with PlayStation in the back of the upper control unit as well as on DualSense.
The PS5 of Yōtei Gold Limited Edition will be available in the world, which is inspired by the shape of Japanese art, Kintsugi, which is a traditional process for fixing broken ceramic with lacquer and gold. The design captures the essence of Kintsugi, and it symbolizes beauty in the shortage and reflects the ATSU’s personal journey to recover and flexibility amid the adversity you will face along the way.

PS5 – Ghost of Yōtei Black Limited Edition will be available exclusively on Direct.PlayStation.com*. This release derives the inspiration from another traditional Japanese artistic form, SUMI-E, the use of black ink on the paintings. By expressing EZO features through bold black brush strokes, this design picks up the essence of the beauty of the ground and mystery, with the resonance of the internal struggle of ATSU and a journey towards salvation.

We are proud of these wonderful designs of SUCKER PUNCH, which were made in close cooperation with the Sony Interactive Entertainment team. Sucker punch with us. Why did they decide to follow these unique artistic forms:
Our source of inspiration for this design came directly from one of the main aspects of the game: the deep focus on exploration. This includes hand-drawn ATSU symbols on its map, the Kintsugi-style effect on the Kintsugi style that was pulled from its ghost mask, and the brush strikes that reminds us of its paintings at SUMI-E. The tall Mount Yōtei is included in the center of the console design to attract them all together, and ATSU highlights the Dualseense console. Each of these elements was carefully woven into both the console and console designs.
