PlayStation is dropping free store credit that you can claim during the month of January

New year new ways to earn

PlayStation users can benefit from more Store Credit in 2025, and it’s easier than ever to claim it.

Although it may be boring to watch your balance slowly rise so you can buy something nice, PlayStation stars It is a handy service to use in the background if you mainly use a file Playstation 4/Playstation 5.

2024 has been a good year for PlayStation, and it looks like this year will be no different with the release of Ghost Of Tsushima Part 2.

However, if I could change one thing about the service, it would be to have it automatically enroll you in its “challenges” like Xbox No, because logging into and selecting apps seems a bit tedious sometimes.

Either way, the service is there and worth using even if the rewards are few and far between, as this month offers you a bunch of points to add to your balance.

Fortunately, you don’t have to do anything too crazy for these, just check the latest titles on your device PlayStation Plus Subscription and some non-PS Plus games too.

If I don’t recommend at least the PlayStation Plus Extra tier, Premium is fine, but unless you have a good internet connection, the cloud streaming feature and gaming experiences aren’t worth the extra money.

Aside from PlayStation Plus games, we also recommend that you purchase one of four games to add to your collection, e.g Monkey escape or a tripboth of which are inexpensive and worth playing no matter what type of game you’re playing.

Do that and you’ll get 50 points plus points equal to whatever you spent in the PlayStation Store, which isn’t a lot but every little bit helps, so it’s a good idea to add to your balance whenever you can.

Collect enough points and a £10 PlayStation voucher could be all yours, but be careful because your points will expire if you don’t spend them fast enough.
