Nintendo Switch 2 leaks intensify as new patents hint at AI image scaling technology

2025 has started with even more Nintendo Switch 2 leaks, though this time they’ll be accompanied by a new patent that suggests the console has some exciting new technology.

Nintendo has also said that it will announce the Switch 2 by the end of March 2025, which means that the reveal is fast approaching. Regarding the publication date, The console is not expected to launch in Nintendo’s current financial yearso it will arrive in April 2025 at the earliest.

In September, the unverified images – a mix of computer-aided design (CAD) images and printed circuit board (PCB) photos – were said to have originated from a Chinese website.
