Nintendo Switch 2 leak has fans tempering their expectations – Nintendo

Nintendo Switch 2 leak has fans tempering their expectations

Reports of my specifications have been greatly exaggerated

Less than four days agoI wrote an article discussing how the recent leaks of Nintendo Switch 2 He described the upcoming system as being on par with PlayStation 4 Pro.

Today I’m here to tell you that one respected video game journalist seems to imply that this will definitely not be the case.

The new information, if you can call it that, comes from Tom Warren, The Verge’s senior editor, on Twitter.

“There are a lot of rumors swirling around about Switch 2,” Warren said he wrote in a recent tweet“But what’s even funnier is that it’s as powerful as a PS4 Pro…”

Now, if you want to go into full coping mode, this might actually indicate something positive, as Warren’s statement is very open-ended.

This could mean that he believes, for whatever reason, that the system might actually become more powerful than the PlayStation 4 Pro.

Let’s be real, the tweet almost certainly suggests otherwise.

So, what can Warren base this on? The short answer is, we have no idea. The long answer is that he probably heard something that others didn’t.

Honestly, it’s a bit of a Wild West situation with the Nintendo Switch 2 rumors at the moment. There is a lot of conflicting information flying around, making it difficult to verify who is chasing influence and who actually managed to uncover some real information.

Personally, I’m very inclined to trust Tom Warren on this one.

He’s done great work in the past, and one look at his body of work should show you that he’s not messing around when it comes to checking his sources.

Ultimately, there’s no way to know what’s true and what’s nonsense until Nintendo officially reveals the system… whenever that happens.
