New Valorant agent Tejo is a skilled explosives expert

Air strikes. Sticky bombs. Guided missiles. Muscular man wearing shades. It all sounds like a Call of Duty game, if you ask me. However, this is actually a description of the new Valuation Agent Teigu, who will start in 2025 as the 27th character in the tactical shooter. The first chapter of this year’s new season also introduces a brand new type of cosmetic called Flex, which will let you taunt and show off in a new way with an emphasis on “Spamability.”

However, Teigu is the headliner here. Valuation‘s first Colombian agent looks like it’s been lifted straight out of a big-budget action movie, with an explosive set to match. Join FPS gameIn the list of starters, Tejo comes with some useful utilities and a devastating ultimate that can wipe out an entire location.

The Special Delivery is a sticky grenade that will hit any targets within its blast range. It will stick to the first surface it touches, or you can make it bounce once before sticking to alternate fire. Tejo’s Stealth Drone is an easy-to-use piece of reconnaissance equipment that you have complete control over. While controlling the drone, you can fire a pulse that suppresses and detects any enemies it hits. Meanwhile, his homing ability allows you to choose two locations on the map where you can send homing missiles. Once they reach their target location, they will explode and damage players.

His latest work is a real blockbuster. Armageddon is basically a massive, rolling air strike that covers a very large area. Choose the starting point and ending point of the barrage, and a wave of explosions will follow your chosen path.

The other big addition to Chapter 1, besides Tejo, is a brand new cosmetic type that might tempt you to spend some Valorant points. Tapping into the fun of spamming knives when you’re waiting for a round to start or celebrating the end of a round, Flex Items are random little objects that you can take out and play with at any time.

“As you know with melee weapons, the ability to spam is really important,” says Jack Flannery, Valorant’s product lead for player emotes. “We wanted to take that whole experience and put it into its own kind of content.”

The main gadget shown in today’s short reveal video, which appears to be free for all players when they log into the new season, is a smartphone-shaped gadget that you can interact with. The second, available in the Battle Pass for the first scene, is basically a giant snowflake that you can spin in the palm of your hand. To be honest, I don’t find it particularly inspiring or engaging, but I can imagine there will be some more impressive and desirable flexible elements later on.
