Military strategy game Warpath launches a naval update featuring 100 new ships

Lilith Games has released a new navy update for its military strategy MMO, Warpath. The update brings a new Naval Force system, a game-changer that introduces nearly 100 detailed and realistic ships.

The Warpath Navy update is now available

You will be able to pilot a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier that allows you to control from a distance, and launch long-range strikes with its aircraft located on the aircraft carrier. The Project 971 submarine is ideal for stealth ambushes, remaining hidden underwater until the right moment.

Then there is the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer, equipped with guided missiles that launch devastating precision attacks. In fact, every ship in Warpath’s naval force is an exact replica of its real-world combat capabilities.

The naval force is divided into six main combat classes. Submarines, for example, are absolute masters of stealth thanks to their ability to run silently. On the other hand, anti-submarine frigates are their worst enemies, traveling at high speeds and hunting them down with precision.

Aircraft carriers dominate from afar, launching strikes with their onboard aircraft. While anti-aircraft destroyers keep the skies clear and deal with surface threats at the same time.

The heavy guns and reinforced armor of the armored destroyer make it a tank of the seas, albeit a slow one. Finally, guided missile destroyers, which specialize in long range, are ideal for dismantling enemy bases from a safe distance.

The developers have fine-tuned the pace of naval battles, and tweaked attack and defense stats to make combat more tactical. Now ships can fire while moving. There’s also an added bonus to the update: throughout January, there are exclusive in-game events.
