Microsoft rejected the Halo and DOOM crossover due to the “Secret Level” episode, say the creators

If you haven’t watched it yet, a new adult animated series called Secret Level arrived on Amazon Prime in early December, and it looks like it’s been a hit so far — so much so that it’s been greenlit for a second season!

However, Wilson went on to explain that a lot of video game IPs have “pre-existing deals” and other factors that can complicate things when trying to snap them up for a new series. Of course, with Season 2 now confirmed, there’s every chance Microsoft might see fit to approve the idea next time around, which we’d all certainly like to see! Halo and DOOM in the same episode? Make it happen, Mr. Spencer!
