Microsoft and Xbox Rewards: How to get 10,000 points per month

In this Microsoft Rewards guide, we’ll detail how to earn 10,000 points per month with the help of Xbox, but keep in mind that some offers are only available in select regions and for specific users, so while we’re able to take advantage here at Pure XboxUnfortunately, you may not be able to do that.

Daily tasks

At the beginning of our Microsoft Rewards guide, here are some examples of daily tasks:

Bing searches

Every day, once you reach level 2, you can use it Microsoft Bing To earn 90 points for searches on desktop, 60 points for searches on mobile, and an additional 12 points for using Microsoft Edge for some of those searches.

Bing searches = approximately 5,000 points per month

Daily collection

Every day, if you log in to Microsoft Rewards Dashboard On the browser or the Microsoft Bing app on Xbox, you can complete a daily collection worth at least 30 points each day, and you’ll get rewards for doing so daily as well.

Daily achievement

If you Complete an achievement in any Xbox or PC Game Pass gameYou can claim 5 additional points daily. This was 50 pips up It was changed in November of 2023so it’s unfortunate that it’s not as tempting an option as it used to be.

Daily achievement = 150 points per month

Daily play

If you play any game from Xbox Game Pass Library for at least 15 minutes, you will earn 10 points for that day. Obviously this isn’t a huge amount, but it gives you about 300 points if you do this all month – better than nothing!

Daily achievement = 300 points per month

Daily strips

If you access Microsoft Rewards on a browser (PC), you may come across something called “Daily Streaks,” which allows you to get 150 bonus points per week — plus 1,000 bonus points when you get enough puzzle pieces.

Daily achievement = 600 points per month + 1000 bonus every now and then

Daily check-in

If you use the Microsoft Bing mobile app, you can sometimes Earn approximately 100 Microsoft Rewards points weekly as part of the Daily Check-in feature.which simply requires you to tap the Rewards tab and then tap Day 1 (or whatever day you happen to be on) as part of the Daily Check-in tab.

Daily check-in = 400 points per month (when applicable)

Read to earn

Scroll down a bit to the Daily Check-In feature in the Bing app for Android and iOS, and you may sometimes see an option called Read to Earn. Tap this, and you’ll be able to read a bunch of Microsoft Bing news stories for 30 Microsoft Rewards points per day. This feature targets specific users and only appears at certain times, so you never know when it will appear…

Daily check-in = 900 points per month (when applicable)

Xbox App Rewards

If you’re in a region with access to Xbox Game Pass missions On the Xbox mobile appYou can do a few things to get Microsoft Rewards points quickly on a daily basis. Go to the app, click on your profile picture in the upper left corner, and then you will see what is on offer. Playing a jewel game is a quick and easy task, for example.

Xbox Game Pass Quests (Weekly Newspaper)

Each month you can complete a variety of Xbox-specific challenges called Xbox Game Pass Questions. These used to be based on completing tasks in certain games, but these days they are more about performing certain actions (e.g Earn achievements) on a consistent basis. Most of them are based on monthly quests, but there are some weekly ones that should get you around 40 points per week.

Xbox Game Pass Quests (Weekly Newspaper) = about 150 points per month

Weekly console bonus

One of the great new Microsoft Rewards features for Xbox users is something called “Weekly console bonus“, which rewards you for simply playing games for five days in a row. If you’re an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate member, you’ll get another small bonus on top, meaning you can earn over 1,000 points per month (in some regions).

Weekly computer bonus

If you’re lucky enough to be in an area that supports that, there is too Microsoft Rewards Weekly PC Bonus Which works exactly the same way as the weekly console bonus, and you’ll likely get around 1,000 points per month.

A new feature for Xbox Game Pass Quests for 2025 is the ability to collect points by completing weekly streaks. If you play five days a week, you’ll earn around 200 points, and maintaining your streak throughout the month will unlock multipliers that increase the amount you can earn. Definitely a profitable tactic in the long run!

Monthly tasks

Finally, here are the monthly tasks you can complete with Microsoft Rewards:

Xbox Game Pass Quests (Monthly)

Each month you can complete a variety of Xbox-specific challenges called Xbox Game Pass missions. These used to be based on completing tasks in certain games, but these days they are more about performing certain actions (e.g Earn achievements) on a consistent basis. You’re looking at earning over 1,500 Microsoft Rewards points per month by doing this, but it’s a little more difficult than it used to be.

Part of this includes new 4-pack and 8-pack monthly challenges for 2025, for which you’ll need to play a selection of Xbox Game Pass titles for at least 15 minutes each over the course of the month. Long wind, but so easy!

Xbox Game Pass Quests (monthly) = about 1,500 points per month

If you follow our Microsoft Rewards guide, you can earn around 10,000 points per month. As mentioned, this is after taking all of the 2023 and 2024 cuts into account – the program has been hit hard over the past few years!

Now the main downside is that, as we said before, some of these offers are not available to some Xbox users for a variety of reasons, so your ability to earn 10,000 points may be limited. However, if you live in an area that supports Microsoft Rewards, you should be able to at least make several thousand per month.
