As most players can attest, there are very few items present Verbalophobia It can outperform an audio sensor when the target is at an early stage of use, as placing a few of them in the right places can allow you to locate your targets in record time. But unlike your EMF reader and other starter picks, obtaining and using the equipment will require a few extra steps. Here’s how to get and use the sound sensor Verbalophobia.
After reaching player level 11, you can enter the sound sensor Verbalophobia This is done by going to the game store and then purchasing it for $80A maximum of four sensors can be accessed simultaneously. Like all purchasable pieces of equipment, you will lose all sensors taken with you to the Node Area when you die.
After obtaining the Standard Sensor, you will then be able to unlock the Level 2 and 3 variants by reaching levels 38 and 58. Aside from the ability to switch its scanning distance up to 15 meters and gradually increasing resolution and capture quality, the Level 3 sensor will also allow you to change the shape of its area of effect to better suit your chosen environment.
Once you have access to your arsenal, you will be able to use the sound sensor Verbalophobia By grabbing it from the truck using either E (on PC) or B/O (on consoles) and then placing it either on the ground or on top of any type of flat surface using F or LT/L2. While the sensor is in place, you (or any member of your team) will be able to monitor the device and follow its readings by checking the sound sensor display on the truck. You’ll also be able to toggle the sensor’s area of influence at any time by selecting the first icon from its Adjust tab.
If you want to maximize the performance of your sensors, I recommend placing them scattered across the map of your choice, as they will be a huge help in finding your chosen ghost room. For example, on large maps, such as Sunny Meadows, Prison, and Brownstone High School, placing devices in areas far from the truck can help you quickly locate rooms without having to escape to your death.
Once you’ve found a room, it’s a good idea to change the sensor positions to cover its vicinity, which will allow you to monitor your condition if your ghost decides to go for a walk. When on smaller maps, try to place sensors in a way that allows them to cover multiple or entire rooms with minimal interference.
Now that you know how to use the sensor, I also highly recommend checking it out How to find Krampus Chests and use them in… Verbalophobia.
