How to get Fidough in Pokemon GO – Destructoid


New Pokemon are constantly being added to the list Pokemon Go. Up until this point, the delicious, baked doggo Fidough has not appeared in the mobile game, but as part of the Fidough Fetch event, players can work together to get its first in-game appearance.

Fido is an adorable Fairy-type Pokemon with sweet buns for ears and a happy little face. Along with its equally impressive evolution, Dachsbun is one of the newest Pokémon to be added to the Pokédex as part of Generation Nine. As one of the newest Pokemon, it may not be surprising that it has not appeared in Pokemon Go yet.

The Fidough Fetch event will start at 3pm PT on January 3rd, and end at 7pm on January 7th. Over the course of these four days, players around the world will need to come together and complete global challenges, ultimately unlocking countless rewards. , including the debuts of Fidough and Dachsbun.

It seems the global challenge this time around is to pull off nice curling ball throws, so spin those balls before you let them fly. When enough throws are completed to reach level 2, Fido will start appearing for capture, and you can use 50 Fido Candies to evolve your Fido Candy into a Dachsbun.

During this event, some Pokémon will appear more often in the wild:

  • roar
  • Voltorp
  • Sunbul
  • Puccina
  • Electrica
  • Lilypop

Electrike and Voltorb will also have a higher chance of being shiny. In addition, PokéStop demos will be held. Be sure to keep an eye on them for a chance to enter the Pokémon themed event.

    • Fidough and Dachsbun will make their first appearance in Pokémon GO
  • Level 3
    • 2.5x XP for catching Pokemon
    • Additional field research mission themed around the event
    • Hisuian Growlithe and Greavard will start spawning in the wild
  • Level 4
    • 2.5x Stardust to catch Pokemon
  • Level 5
    • 3x XP for catching Pokemon
    • 3x Stardust to catch Pokemon
  • Level 6
    • 4x XP for catching Pokemon
    • 4x Stardust to catch Pokemon
