With massive battles and raids, animal taming, fun survival mechanics, and some excellent kingdom building, there’s really a lot going on The legend of empires. However, the sandbox survival game is soon going to be bigger with a Persia-inspired expansion, and its developer has given fans a first look at more than a dozen cool new weapons.
Despite some pre-launch drama, The legend of empires It finally appeared in 1.0 last year to great excitement and popularity. While the player counts for history Sandbox game Having dwindled, it still keeps its humble but dedicated community coming back for more. One big moment that could see it blow up again is the long-awaited release of the Persian Civilization DLC, the first major expansion for Myth of Empires. While it was supposed to be released before the end of 2024, developer Angela Game has just confirmed that it will “begin internal functional testing very soon.” Unless any truly terrifying bugs are encountered, hopefully that means we’ll be seeing them within the next couple of months.
Many aspects of the new DLC have already been revealed, such as additional vehicles and a new cave inhabited by a giant sandworm, but now it’s the turn of the 13 new weapons to have their time in the spotlight. To make massive guild battles feel unique, there’s a very diverse combat system in Myth of Empires, and these new weapons are just as diverse. From axes, to swords, to spears, there’s plenty on offer – and the displays look pretty stellar too.
For example, there’s the one-handed White Wolf Waist Knife, which can be held flat at your side while going into battle on horseback, decapitating anyone who stands in your way. Meanwhile, the two-handed Sabo Plate Hammer is highly break-resistant and “highly destructive.” In addition to melee weapons, there are also two bows and two shields being added to the arsenal.
You can check out the full blog post, with artwork and some historical information on all 13 new weapons, here.
There’s currently no release date for the Persia DLC for Myth of Empires, but as mentioned, internal testing is underway, so it shouldn’t be too far away now.
