Half-life 3? G-Man voice actor shares mysterious teaser for 2025

It’s officially 2025, and something is afoot. Mike Shapiro, the voice actor behind the ill-fated G-Man vehicle, posted a short teaser for the 2024 finale. Half life 3? Probably not, but there’s a good chance this will be some form of release in the franchise.

Chinese democracy Upcoming PC games, Half life 3 It has now been 18 years in the making. (Yes, Half-Life 2: Episode II was released in 2007 – sorry.) The rumor mill has continued to escalate non-stop at the time, with all sorts of reports surfacing about different versions that Valve is working on.

We got some real hope in 2020, when Half-Life: Alyx arrived. This wasn’t the trio, but it was the first official entry in 13 years. Subsequently, Valve commissioned a pair of anniversary documentaries on the first two FPS gamesand the second included old in-progress footage of Half-Life 3. Acknowledgments! Shapiro’s latest tweet has some fans thinking we’re about to get an announcement in some form.

“Another year indeed. Good to see and hear from so many of you. I hope the next quarter century holds as many unexpected surprises as the first quarter of the millennium did,” he says, in his signature G-Man delivery. “And again, time is fluid, like music… See you in the new year.”

There is definitely an aura to this statement. Hashtags for Valve, Half-Life, G-Man, and 2025 are included. What’s even more surprising is that Shapiro is not an active poster. His account has been dormant since Alyx appeared. So, logic dictates that it’s part of some long-form propaganda here.

The artwork in his video is taken from a song he posted on December 16, 2024 titled “Best Long Dog”. It’s the third song he’s released in 2024, following “Magnetic North” and “Steeplechase,” all of which are moody ballads. They’re good tunes too, if a commercialized Americana vibe is something you enjoy, but I digress.

This comes on the heels of Reports Half-Life 3 is being tested at Valve, and could be announced in 2025. This may be a coincidence, but this is a clear consensus.

There’s a distinct possibility that this is all for an upcoming album from Shapiro, and he’s simply using his G-Man fame as a way to get people’s attention. Or if this is a New computer game In the world of Half-Life, it’s not the long-awaited follow-up to Gordon Freeman’s journey.
