When is Genshin Impact Lantern Rite 2025?
This year, Genshin Impact’s Lantern Rite, titled Springtime Charms, will be released during version 5.3. Hoyoverse has not announced a specific date yet, but we expect it to run from Tuesday, January 21 to Tuesday, February 11, 2025. This coincides with the Phase 2 banners, and also coincides with the Chinese New Year, which falls on Wednesday. , January 29, 2025.
What are the events of Genshin Impact Lantern Rite 2024?
As always, Genshin Impact Lantern Rite 2025 sees the streets of Liyue lit up not only with lanterns, but also with plenty of celebrations and fun mini-games.
This year is no exception, with a variety of puzzles and challenges inspired by Liyue culture and a whole host of rewards for you to claim. Lantern Rite 2025 games include:
Immortal combat
Use rattan characters to duel against other characters (or other players) in this cute little Tetris style game. Adjust falling blocks to align them and connect multiple blocks of the same type to damage your opponents and achieve victory.
Exercises by lamp light
In this limited-time combat event, you must form a team and choose from a variety of different secret strategies to help you confront your enemies. Then, complete objectives on the battlefield to activate strategies, defeat opponents and strive for the highest score.
Gift envelopes
To spread the festive spirit, your friends from Liyue and beyond are asking for your help to decorate gift envelopes to send to their friends. Head to the in-game craft booths and let your creative side show to earn rewards and witness cute encounters – and you can even send your gift envelopes to other travelers!

Free lantern wright 2025 character
Every year, the Lantern Rite gives us the opportunity to obtain one free four-star character from Liyue. This year’s invitational event, called the Lantern-Lit Gathering, sees you gather festive cheer by participating in other Lantern Rite games. Once you reach a certain amount, you can choose any four-star character from Liyue, including the brand-new Animo Catalyst user, Lan Yan.

New Genshin Impact Lantern Rite skins
Introducing the new Lantern Rite 2025 Genshin Impact skins Hu Tao and Xiangling. Xiangling’s costume, titled New Year’s Cheer, sees her wearing a gorgeous red coat and Guoba-inspired hat. You can claim a free copy of this skin by participating in the Lantern Rite event.
He TaoCherries Snow-Laden’s outfit, named Cherries Snow-Laden, is designed in a lighter palette than her normal festive outfit, because it is actually a gift from her dear friend Xiangling. Featuring an adorable red and white cloak, robe and hat with thigh-high stockings, she’s perfect for chasing down customers and selling coffins!
