Have we already reached the end of 2024? They say time flies when you’re having a good time, and boy, did we have a lot of fun this year. But with a new year comes the promise of many new gaming experiences, and the first four months of 2025 are already packed with standout titles. Let’s take a look at some of the great games you’ll have the opportunity to try out in the next few months.

The most epic gaming narrative of the historical Three Kingdoms saga returns in its most ambitious entry yet. Dynasty Warriors: Origins begins at the beginning of the story, with a new martial arts champion facing off against the soon-to-be legendary figures Guan Yu and Zhang Jiao, just as history takes drastic turns. Origins features the most detailed battlefields in the series to date, each one filled with soldiers that you and your allies must overcome with a mix of action and strategy. Whether you’re a new recruit or a seasoned Warriors veteran, Origins is sure to surprise and delight you with story and action.

Mecha combat and exploration come together in a cool and dangerous post-apocalyptic third-person shooter. Set in the same universe as the anime Synduality: Noir, Echo of Ada is a stand-alone story set in a future where the remnants of humanity have been forced to gather into small groups due to the dual threat of deadly rainfall and the evil being it spawns. As a trained apprentice, you can use a mechanism called Cradlecoffin to collect basic energy sources, accompanied by an intelligent and powerful AI called Magus. Customize your Mecha and use Magus abilities to defeat ferocious Ender creatures and other players.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the award-winning sequel, will be coming to PC early next year. This game is an open web adventure in the streets and skies surrounding New York City. It stars Peter Parker and Miles Morales, two of the greatest people to don the Spider-suit. They’ll use an array of skills and gadgets – along with the fan-favorite symbiote suit – to battle Kraven and his gang of Hunters.

Set in Sengoku-era Japan, you’ll control ninja Naoe and samurai warrior Yasuke in an ever-changing open world full of friends, enemies, quests and secrets. Not only will you be able to use the series’ stealth elements to scout out and eliminate enemies and targets, but you’ll also be able to use new gadgets and use many traditional Japanese weapons. Your skills and senses will prove as essential to victory as your prowess with a sword.

It’s time to revisit an often forgotten period in the history of one of gaming’s leading ladies. Lara Croft returns to the spotlight with three new versions of the old Tomb Raider games. Tomb Raider: Final Revelation, Tomb Raider Chronicles, and Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness. Along with a host of graphical improvements and a choice between classic and modern controls, players will have access to a brand new photo mode with plenty of poses and outfits to create cool and stylish displays for Lara.
