There are less than two weeks left for the TOTY promo to start EFC 25and it will be one of the most exciting times to play Ultimate Team.
Team of the Year is one of the biggest promotions in Ultimate Team history, and features some of the best cards you’re ever likely to find in-game. The promotion will feature special cards for football players, which are partly determined by voting.
The nominees have yet to be revealed by EA Sports, but the next lineup could be the final 11 players in the promotion.
Typically, EA Sports releases a team of 11 special cards, with one more added as a 12th player. If the developers follow the same pattern as last year, there will be two teams: one for men’s football and one for women’s.
Here’s my prediction for what the men’s team could look like on January 19 (when the full eleven lineup is officially available).

- William Saliba (CB)/Gabriel Migalhes (CB)

- Kylian Mbappe (ST)
- Mohamed Salah (RW)
Typically, EA Sports has created 433 TOTY lineups over the past few years. I don’t expect that to change, and my lineup is very strong when it comes to performances. Some discussion can be had about the LB position. I picked Grimaldo and Theo, but Inter’s Demarco is another justifiable shout out as well.
Both Gabriel and Saliba have been among the most reliable defenders over the past year, but I doubt they will earn a place in the starting lineup. Virgil van Dijk had a tremendous performance for Liverpool, especially in the second half of the year. Frimpong remains one of the regional top performers, even if his form has diminished a bit.
Rhodri He may have missed the last few months of action, but 2024 has been great for him. If Manchester City’s good form wasn’t enough, the Spaniard dominated the entire midfield during Spain’s golden Euro run. It could be a TOTY’S DEBUT For Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, who was an impressive performer in the league for the Blues.
There can be absolutely no debate about Vinicius and Mohamed Salah, but Mbappe has not been consistent at Real Madrid. However, EA Sports likes to include him in big promotions, and I can see him earning a place at centre-forward in the lineup.
