Now, what Doug Boser said from Nintendo this week no Nevertheless, it is bad, but it is somewhat humor. How similar the two quotes are! For comparison, here’s the famous Xbox quote without Mattrick along with Doug BowSer Nintendo:
Don Mattrick (xbox) in 2013: We have a product for people who cannot get a form of communication; Xbox 360.
Doug Bowser (Nintendo) in 2025: We realize that there are some people who may not be able to withstand the Switch 2. That is why we wanted to make other switch platforms available, so (people) still have an opportunity to enter our game world, and to be part of these characters in these worlds, and see value, if you will, in any of the platform they come in.
Again, I don’t think this is anywhere close to the bad quotation from Don Mattrick from behind a day, but it suddenly attracts thousands of comments via social media, as many similarities indicate Xbox:
The problem here, for me, is not what Doug said – Switch 2 It is an expensive system, and although there is a justified controversy surrounding the price of its games, the devices themselves feel as if they were appointed at an appropriate price.
the TRUE The problem is that you cannot go to direct this quote and expect to beat the rejectionists! It is a sentence that still chases us to this day – Xbox has lost a lot of confidence from fans during this failed launch in 2013.
However, let’s not take this seriously. Switch 2 does not face anywhere near the disaster that Xbox One was during that time, and I have faith that it will be a great control unit .. But this was a specific goal for sure!
