Deadpool’s wild MCU return was not at all what we expected – Marvel

After a long period of so-called superhero fatigue, Deadpool Wolverine Putting the Marvel Cinematic Universe back on the map, reigniting fan interest.

Other supporting elements that helped contribute were the exclusion of Kang from the villain role in the saga and the casting of Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom’s replacement.

It was Deadpool Wolverine Although this did make money at the box office, so maybe you can understand why marvel He is in the midst of incorporating Deadpool into every project and promotion possible.

He unexpectedly became a face Disney Plus, which is funny considering it wasn’t that long ago that Deadpool didn’t fall under the Disney banner.

The character’s last appearance came during the season three finale what if…?which also serves as the final season of the show.

Although it is not surprising to see Deadpool pop up what if…? Given what I said above, this latest iteration of the character is, it’s fair to say, somewhat unexpected.

After diving in what if…?Season three? All episodes are now available to stream on Disney Plus.

I’m going to address you Spoilers The season three finale “What If…What If?” From here on.

The conclusion of the final season featured a montage of unexplored ideas. For example, what if Thanos Wolverine had adamantium claws?

I personally don’t find this concept that interesting but I assume that’s why it was moved to this montage and not given its own episode.

The sequence also references the samurai version of Ghost Rider, a combination of Blade and Moon Knight, and a combination of The Punisher and Ironheart.

As for Deadpool’s appearance, well, it seems so what if…? He combined the character with Cable – but specifically a comic-accurate ’90s version of Cable.

The iteration of Deadpool we see during the montage carries a heavy arsenal on his back, much like Cable did during the ’90s.

You can see the cannons, rifles, rifles and katana held by the superhero.

As for his intentions, I’m afraid we don’t know.

What if Deadpool sought ultimate power? What if Deadpool ruins the MCU? Creative people what if…? He was probably thinking of an infinite number of thoughts.

However, it’s good to see Deadpool included again in the MCU and I can only assume we’ll comfortably be able to look forward to more appearances.
