DCU’s surprise reveal of Batman has been hailed as ‘pure cinema’ by fans – DC Comics

The DCU's surprise reveal of Batman has been hailed as

Bat mania

Batman She just randomly appeared on an official episode of a show based on James Gunn Central console – and fans seem relatively happy with what little we can actually glean from The Caped Crusader’s first official appearance.

By the way, this article contains massive spoilers for the final episode of the series Commando Creatures So proceed at your own risk if you are not up to date.

The sixth episode of Commando CreaturesTitled “Priyatel Skelet,” it explores the backstory of nuclear scientist Alexander Sartorius – known to viewers as Dr. Phosphorus.

During Dr. Phosphorus’ post-transformation adventures, he tracks down Robert Thorne (the man who killed his family) and takes control of his criminal empire… forcing him to confront Batman.

Although yYou’ll only see Batman for a brief secondit’s a pretty clear shot — and our first proper look at the canon version of the DCU’s Dark Knight.

Now I should add that we also technically saw Batman in Episode IV of Commando Creatures“Chasing squirrels.”

However, this wasn’t actually the DCU’s proper version of Batman, as the heroes you see are part of the post-apocalyptic nightmare scenario that Circe presents to Amanda Waller. This new version of Batman is the right Dark Knight for us moving forward.

In the Reddit thread detailing the review, all of the comments were naturally very focused on seeing our first look at Batman.

“This bat is up,” he commented. User Intelligent_Oil4005.

“I like this world-building approach…” he replied. User Big-Sheepherder-9492“We’re building Batman and Gotham so far through the eyes of the villains.”

I have to say, I think this is a very clever way to reveal Batman – especially in the animated series.

You can see his costume and general frame, but enough of his face is obscured that you can still choose who you want next turn.

However, the bro looks quite built. Maybe the Alan Richardson rumors might finally turn out to be true.
