as reported by period, Momo has been Rumors of playing Lobo for quite some time and he has also publicly shared how excited he would be to play the character. Today, he confirmed on Instagram that it was finally happening.

“They called,” Momoa wrote on Instagram along with some of his old comments about wanting to play Lobo, where he said he was waiting for the invitation.

“So Lobo was… I collect comics, and I don’t do that much anymore, but he was always my favorite, and I always wanted to play Lobo because I’m like, ‘Hey? He’s the perfect role.'” Momoa said. in the past “I mean, listen. If they call me and ask me to play him, yeah. I haven’t gotten that call, so I don’t want to put out fake news, but if they ever call me and ask me to play, or ask me to audition, I’m there.”

For those who don’t know, Lobo was created by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen and first appeared in Omega Men #3 in 1983. His home planet is Czarnia and he is an interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter with superhuman strength and immortality.
