With an introduction Wuthering Waves 2.0 Update, players can enjoy new Sonata effects in-game.
The new update includes a lot of new additions, including the Rinascita area. The effects of the new Sonata are different in how reverberation work, but the two are interconnected. The new toppings are additions to existing toppings, and there are 16 different options you can enjoy.
All Sonata effects, as usual, have different effects depending on whether you have equipped a 2-piece or 5-piece set.

Wuthering Waves 2.0 added the following sonata effects: Frosty Resolve, Eternal Radiance, Midnight Veil, Empyrean Anthem, and Tidebreaking Courage. Check out the full list of effects below.

| Moonlit cloud | +10% energy regeneration | Increases Resonator’s next attack by 22.5% for 15 seconds after the Epilogue skill. |
| Lingering melodies | +10% attack | Attack increases by 5% every 1.5 seconds. Stack up to 5 times, ending loss +60%. |
| Frost resolution | +10% damage to the Resonance skill | Releasing Casting Resonance grants 18% additional damage to the Resonance skill and 18% additional damage to the Resonance skill for 5 seconds. This effect accumulates up to 2 times. |
| Eternal ray | +10% spectral damage | Affecting enemies with Spectro Frazzle increases the importance. Rate at 20% for 15 seconds. Attacking enemies with 10 combos of Spectro Frazzle gives you a 15% Spectro DMG bonus for 15 seconds. |
| Midnight veil | +10% damage damage | 480% additional damage from Havoc after the Epilogue skill to surrounding enemies and 15% additional damage from Havoc for 15 seconds to the next Resonator. |
| Imperial anthem | +10% energy regeneration | Increased Resonator coordinated attack damage by 80%. On a critical hit of a coordinated attack, increase the active Resonator attack by 20% for 4 seconds. |
| Courage ebbs and flows | +10% energy regeneration | Increase Resonator’s attack by 15%. Reaching 250% Energy Regeneration increases all attribute damage by 30% to the Resonator. |
