Who are all the current Dreamlight Valley characters? A host of Disney characters will join you on your adventure in this fantastic game of life, where you become friends with familiar faces from your favorite animated films. We’ve been playing the game for some time, and we’ve gotten to know everyone in the game so far, so we can help you make friends with them all.
while Valley of dreams He is a Sim lifeit’s also story-driven, and some of the characters you encounter are part of that story. Others can be chosen and unlocked in any order from within the Dream Castle – although you’ll want to read ours Disney Dreamlight Valley Guide Beforehand, it recommends spending your Dreamlight on something else before unlocking several worlds. Here though we go through each Disney Dreamlight Valley Characters In the story you will encounter those you can save from their worlds, and those we have not met yet.
The first character I’m introduced to in Dreamlight Valley is Merlin from The Sword in the Stone. It’s pivotal to your Disney Dreamlight Valley journey, teaching you how things work and how to harness your magical powers. As you progress through the valley, you’ll talk to him frequently, but you’ll also get to know more – like your neighbor Mickey Mouse.
Here’s the full list of everyone you’ll meet in this new land as you continue your journey to bring Dreamlight Valley to life:
Fairly early on, Merlin will show you how to unlock the Dream Castle, giving you access to the characters’ worlds. These will take you to where these additional characters are currently located, and task you with bringing them home. This is also how we expect most of the future characters in the game to be released.
At present, there are nine worlds accessible: Moana, Ratatouille, WALL-E, Frozen, Toy Story, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Monsters, Inc., and Mulan. With over 30 doors already visible in the Dream Castle, and Unlimited potential to add to thoseWe can expect more to come, with Princess Vanellope arriving in just weeks. Currently available characters from the worlds of Dreamlight Valley are:
Storybook Vale was the second massive expansion pack to be added to Disney’s Dreamlight Valley, and was released on November 20, 2024. This time, Merida leads us through a story that borders on stories, as she explores the Library of Knowledge and beyond. . While three characters have been confirmed so far, it’s likely that at least Aurora and Maleficent will be coming. Dreamlight Valley characters added with the Storybook Vale DLC are:
Some additional characters were made available with the first DLC: A Rift in Time. Unfortunately, this means they are locked behind a paywall. However, if you have or are interested in obtaining A Rift in Time, here are additional Dreamlight Valley characters you can hope to meet during your travels:
Including DLC and updates, there are now more characters in the Dreamlight Valley roster. 2025 is scheduled to bring more, including Aladdin and Peter Pan. While we wait to see who else makes their way to the Valley, here are the ones we think we might see in the next few updates:
The above characters featured in the trailers are related to characters already in the game, but hopefully other franchise characters will join them. After all, there is no Cinderella without her Prince Charming.
Knowing all of the above, there are definitely still some characters we’d like to see join the roster in the future, and we won’t rest until we see Hercules, Meg, and Tarzan roaming around the village. Here are some movies containing characters missing from Disney Dreamlight Valley, which may be added in the future:
Some of the aforementioned perks already appear in-game thanks to customization items, but there’s no confirmation yet that any of their characters will appear. We’ve also left out some non-realistic characters, like live-action movies or characters like Dumbo and Lightning McQueen that we’d love to see, but might be too big. But then we have Remy, Woody and Buzz, so who knows what the future of Dreamlight Valley holds.
