Vampire action-survival game V Rising has hit a new milestone, with developer Stunlock Studios announcing that the game has now sold five million units.
The announcement was sent via a press release as the studio also announced a massive update/expansion scheduled to drop sometime in 2025.

In the press release, Rickard Friesegaard, CEO of Stunlock Studios, said, “Achieving 5 million sales is not just a number, it is a testament to the passion and dedication of our team and our amazing community. The enthusiasm of our players drives us to push the boundaries and deliver more unforgettable experiences, and we We are excited to build on this success and deliver exciting new experiences and content in 2025.
As for what’s coming to the game this year, Stunlock says this “major update” will bring a brand new biome, a deadly new faction, and “ancient technologies ready to be claimed.”
New content isn’t the only thing on the way, as there are important changes coming as well. Players can expect a revamped progression system featuring stat caps, a Fusion Forge for crafting ultimate builds, and risk-free PvP (player versus player) options like dueling, customizable castle arenas, and more.
