Infinity Nikki sails to Firework Isles in update 1.2 with tons of new content, launching on January 23 – Destructoid

As the Shooting Star Festival comes to an end Infinity NikkiPlayers can now look forward to Update 1.2 and everything it entails. During the 1.2 live stream on January 20, players were given details about the upcoming season, starting on January 23.

The Fireworks Season will run until February 25th, and is set to include a brand new set of features, a story to play through, and obviously a lot of new outfits to collect. There are some cool new ability outfits on the way, a brand new area of ​​the map to explore, and we got our first look at the banners for the new limited-time Fireworks season.

Shine your fashion with new arrivals in 1.2

As part of the new season of events, there will be two new limited-time Resonance banners, each containing a four-star and one five-star outfit.

The Skyward Bouquets banner will include the five-star Stardust Flare dress, a frankly gorgeous black dress surrounded by constantly exploding fireworks. This banner will also include a four-star vigil, which I’m very excited about.

Not only is the Midnight Vigil costume impossibly cute, but it also comes with a very special ability that will cause any animal you care for while wearing it to follow you in line, as if you were the parade leader and they were your floats. Whether you want a train of Bibcoons or Floofs on your heels, this is the outfit you need to make it happen.

The Fireworks Prelude logo will have two new costumes as well. The five-star Dance Till Dawn costume looks like something that wouldn’t be out of place while having tea with the Mad Hatter and will allow you to wander around the deserted area and the fireworks islands. The four-star Eternal Bond costume follows the same theme, though it has a more mystical vibe and isn’t as cute, and comes complete with cards falling around you. Unfortunately, this has no benefit in terms of ability, but it’s still pretty cool.

There are also countless other clothes that are easy to obtain as well. As part of the expanding story, players will be able to obtain the Fiery Glow costume, and the Endless Longing costume will be obtained as part of an event during the season.

Of course, there’s a bunch of new outfits coming to the store too, including an outfit that will make Momo join in as part of a band while wearing it, and a stunning Cloudborne Dreams outfit that comes complete with a beautiful lace umbrella.

Sail to the Fireworks Islands

As part of the update, we’ll be getting a brand new area of ​​the map to explore, opening up the world of Miraland and providing a whole host of new content and quests to play through. During the 1.2 livestream, it was revealed that the next part of the main quest is called “Glowing Fireworks”, which will have strong ties to the next event, Carnival of Fireworks. Apparently, we’ll see a whole new side of shop owner Marques, and encounter a new boss known as “The Dark Bouquet.”

There will be lots of new things to experience while exploring the Fireworks Islands, including:

• Whirl-A-Pony, a ride-on carousel
• Fireworks Wagon, a horse-drawn carriage that will take you to the sky with a friend
• Fireworks Dance, where you can experience different dances triggered by certain clothes
• Portable fireworks, which will allow you to create and ignite fireworks
• Whim Balloons, a new type of Whimstar you can collect

Upcoming events, experiences received

We also got a summary of the events that will be shown after the 1.2 drop, including the Fireworks Carnival, which will offer unspecified rewards and will be heavily tied to the next phase of the main story.

After that, there will be two more events to participate in, each with its own tasks and rewards

• New Bloom Festival
  • “This event, coming from the Linglang Empire, is all about enjoying the arts. Complete all the quests to get Pipa’s ability outfit!”
• New Horizons Day
  • “Enjoy a hot air balloon experience as you float toward Breezy Meadow from the Fireworks Islands!”
