What is the 008 promo card in Pokémon TCG Pocket? – Devastated

Have you taken a look at your entire collection in Pokemon TCG Pocket Noticed that you may be missing promo card 8 (or 008)? This may be annoying for completionists and collectors, but don’t worry.

If you’re missing this promo card, here’s why.

First, the 008 promo card Pokemon TCG Pocket It is a variation of the Trainer Card Pokédex. It will feature artwork of the three Kanto starters (Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle) along with Pikachu looking at his Pokédex.

It has the same effect as using other versions of this card.

If you’re wondering how to get this card, you can’t do so at the time of writing. It’s not available in the game yet, so don’t worry that you missed out.

It will be made available in the future through some sort of Wonder Pick or Drop event, similar to Blastoise, Lapras EX, and more. When the event comes, you’ll have a good amount of time to get this so you can complete the entire collection the game has to offer so far.

If you are a gamer who is just playing Pokemon TCG Pocket Competitively, you won’t be at a huge loss if you don’t have this card in your inventory. The Pokédex Trainer Card doesn’t provide much value in meta decks.

The only reason you’d want this card in your deck is for completion purposes. Other than that, it’s just a pretty card to look at as it collects virtual dust in the hundreds of other cards surrounding it.
