TrueAchievements Game of the Year Winner: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Despite launching late in the year, TrueAchievements is a Game of the Year 2024 winner Indiana Jones and the Grand CircleWhich received 13.2% out of 10,000 votes. With an early December release date, MachineGames’ latest release didn’t take long to make an impression before our GOTY vote, but it’s been well received by TrueAchievements members, and rightly so. The Indy epic is a fantastic action-adventure game that truly embodies the look and feel of the early Indiana Jones films. With its intense and intense combat, interesting puzzles, and gorgeous environments to explore, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a deserving winner.

In second place, we have another action-adventure title: Senua’s Saga Hellblade II. The long-awaited sequel came in second place with 4.8% of the vote.

Voting for the TrueAchievements ID@Xbox Game of the Year award is always a close affair, and this year was no exception, with Blobfish’s roguelite shooter Protato Just beat Palworld with a punch. Looking at the results, Protato received 7.8% of the vote compared to Palward’s 7.4%, so it was a close match, but the Armed Potato took the crown here.

However, the battle for second and third place was closer – with only a handful of votes securing second place for Palworld for its excellent poker-themed roguelike Balatro.

TrueAchievements Best DLC Pack of 2024: Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

Finally, FromSoftware has given those hungry for more Al-Din ring The expansion of Fat has far exceeded fans’ expectations. Shadow of the Erdtree offers a large new area to explore, full of new secrets to uncover and more massive bosses to conquer. It’s just as great as the original game (even if it doesn’t add any new achievements) and is a very impressive achievement from developer FromSoftware, so it’s no surprise to see Shadow of the Erdtree win with 10.1% of the vote.

Following in second place with 7.0% of the vote was Starfield’s Shattered Space, which took players into the mysterious and hidden world of House Va’Ruun to investigate and confront a new cosmic threat.

TrueAchievements Best Game Pass add-on of 2024: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

• runner up: Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

This year’s winner of TrueAchievements also took home the award for Best Game Pass Add-on of 2024. With a whopping 16.3% of the vote, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle easily beat out Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (5.2%). ) per second. Both games are excellent and offer great value for Game Pass subscribers, but it’s probably Indy’s universal appeal that sees Indiana Jones and the Great Circle take the win here.

We’ve got a ton of interesting milestones to achieve throughout 2024, and we’ve asked you for your favorites across four different categories. As you can see, it’s a clean sweep of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle from MachineGames.

The achievement that TA members were most proud of unlocking was Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s Archivist. This achievement requires you to collect all the journal notes in the game. There are hundreds of these notes scattered and hidden throughout each level, so if you can collect them all and pull off this achievement, I’ll pull you off an Indiana Jones-style fedora.

As for which achievement was the most fun to unlock, players voted for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s Pest control. This is a simple feat that tasks you with hitting an enemy with the flyswatter – you don’t actually need to kill an enemy with the flyswatter; Just give them a quick smack on the pieces, and the achievement will unlock. TA members also voted Pest Control as the Most Innovative Achievement of 2024.

Finally we come to the achievement with the best name which is Indiana Jones and the Grand Circle It belongs to the museum. Of course, fans of the Indiana Jones movies will recognize the name of this feat as one of the most famous lines from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. To unlock this achievement, you need to find ten paintings hidden throughout Indiana Jones and the Giza level of the Great Circle and donate them all to the museum in Cairo.

Best TrueAchievements Community Event of 2024: 12 Days of Christmas

• runner up: Type Bingo 2024

For the third year in a row, I voted for 12 days of Christmas As your favorite TrueAchievements community event. The 12 Days of Christmas event is a highlight for many because it really makes you think about the achievements you need to unlock to beat each daily challenge. 12 Days of Christmas was the runaway winner with 28.3% of the vote, followed by another excellent community event, Genre Bingo 2024, in second place.

Many expect that GTA 6 will break many of the records held by its predecessor and become one of the most successful games of all time – hopefully it won’t suffer delays and we’ll all be playing it later this year.
